The planters we produce are coming out in the raw, unoxidized state. This means that at the very beginning of their life cycle their surface resembles ordinary black steel. The formation of a rusty orange coating takes somewhere between 2 weeks, up to even 3 months — depending on the conditions of the nearest environment and weather. The greenery is not included.
The Classic corten steel planter opens up new horizons in garden design. Corten is a type of structural, corrosion-resistant steel grade. Due to the appropriately selected chemical additives, a natural layer of rust-coloured patina is created on its surface. The patina consists mostly of copper oxides, which are released upon contact with the air. This coating is very dense, therefore the corrosive reaction is suppressed, as the oxygen does not come into contact with the material directly. Our planters are the perfect fit for establishing a modern-looking garden or terrace.
Its unusual design will also draw a great deal of interest across city spaces, particularly restaurants, museums and boardwalks. Planters made of corten steel are exceptionally resilient to adverse weather conditions. A wide variety of well-known urbanists, as well as garden designers had also praised their distinctive, eye-catching appearance. Corten-made products are truly a work of art, which are gaining more and more popularity with each passing year.
Corten steel planter Classic is available in eight different options, thanks to which you can easily adjust its size to fit your needs. It is also equipped with a build-in rainfall irrigation system, thanks to which our corten steel planters are perfectly capable of protecting your flowers against major overflows.
